Top 10 Toys for Christmas
Christmas is a magical time of year, when children become increasingly excited and start writing their letters to Santa hoping that he will deliver that special toy. We all want to see those little faces light up on Christmas morning but the reality is that it does come with a cost and keeping within your budget and sticking to it is a must.
As you can see from the list of the Top 10 Toys for 2009 announced by the Toy Retailers Association (the industries official prediction of Christmas best-sellers) none of the toys shown cost more than £50, some considerably less. In fact, Go Go Hamsters now called Zhu Zhu pets hamster became the most sought after toy, at prices ranging from an affordable £9.99.
As the recession lingers on with more people being made redundant or unable to find jobs it would seem logical to anticipate that the Top 10 Toys for 2010 will follow the same trend. It will be interesting to see if the Zhu Zhu pets hamster have more additions to the family for Christmas 2010.
By choosing carefully and good planning you can make your budget go further and have a less stressful Christmas. Look out for the early deals, not only could you get your toys at a good price but you will have first pick of the new season stock. You can then sit back and relax, safe in the knowledge that those ‘must have’ toys are wrapped and ready for Santa’s sack.
Shopping around for those money saving Toy Discount Codes and Toy Special Offers all help to make your money go further. You don’t have to wait until Christmas to start your shopping. If you see a good bargain at anytime of the year then buy it and put it away for Christmas, though take care to hide it well and remember where you put it.
You can be super organised by keeping an up to date list of who you need to buy presents for, how much you can afford to spend and what you have bought and above all remember to stick to that budget!
